2014 TPA / TDC NCAA Workshop

On Thursday November 6th in Toronto and Friday November 7th in Montreal, over 45 coaches attended the 2014 TPA/TDC NCAA Workshops. Coaches enjoyed presentations that focused on the options available to our junior players at University Tennis both in the US and in Canada.

In Toronto, coaches were treated to presentations by Tim Donovan and Richard Crowell. Tim Donovan also presented in Montreal along with Severine Tamborero. The first main topic discussed included Examining the NCAA Pathway by understanding the recruiting process, the new rules and processes and how to help maximize your players opportunities. The second was Examining the Competitive & University Landscape in Canada by looking at junior player retention, increasing play within the competitive structure and examing the Canadian university model.

We would like to thank all of those who attended for their continued support of growing the sport of tennis across the country and look forward to seeing you all back next year.
