Professional Development at Rogers Cup Draws Large Turnout

 

Over 85 coaches and club leaders attended various workshops and presentations during Rogers Cup presented by National Bank in Toronto and Montreal over the past week. 

The Club Leaders Conference took place at Black Creek Pioneer Village and featured presentations from many leaders in the tennis industry including Kelly Murumets, Uros Budimac, Dan Santorum, Wayne Elderton and was facilitated by Gary Caron. Other speakers included Allan Stitt, Brian Shaw and Jessica Harrison. Attendees were treated to a plethora of information on a large variety of topics and gained some invaluable knowledge on improving their clubs. Afterwards, everyone headed over to the Aviva Centre to take in some exciting tennis action!

The TPA Days in Toronto and Montreal took place on site at the Aviva Centre and Stade Uniprix respectively. Participants in both Montreal & Toronto took part in an on-court workshop on the Learn to Play curriculum followed by lunch and tennis in the suite. The Toronto event was led by Andy Sutton and the event in Montreal was led by Andreanne Martin.
