TPA Seminars featuring Carlos Kirmayr and Daniel Rosenbaum receive rave reviews

The TPA hosted two professional development seminars in October, both featuring guest speakers Carlos Kirmayr and Daniel Rosenbaum. The first was held on October 6 in Richmond, British Columbia, while the second was held on October 11 at the Granite Club in Toronto.

In Vancouver, Carlos and Daniel were joined by Tennis Canada national fitness coach Nicolas Perrotte, director of high performance coaching Jocelyn Robichaud, and strength and conditioning coach for the regional training centre in Vancouver, Sergey Nazarov. This professional development seminar was part of the 2016 Tennis BC Coaching Conference presented by the TPA. The day included on and off-court presentations, as well as presenting the 2016 Tennis BC coaching awards during a lunchtime ceremony.

Following the Thanksgiving long weekend, Carlos, Daniel and Jocelyn made their way to Toronto to share their knowledge with the coaches in the Greater Toronto Area. Andre Parent, fitness coach at the National Training Centre in Montreal, was the final presenter for the Toronto seminar. Both events were well received by the participants, who enjoyed the opportunity to learn from international tennis coaches, and their experiences.

The TPA would like to thank Tennis BC, Richmond Country Club, and Granite Club for helping to put on both of these events. It is because of these great partners that the TPA is able to offer such valuable learning experiences to its coaches across the country.
